About the author

Jessy Jordan is a tech lead and software engineer, who is specializing in improving developer workflows in order to increase velocity, and creating accessible and easy-to-use user interfaces.

Jessy leads IT workshops and meetups about JavaScript in their hometown Berlin, Germany. As a former member of the Ember Learning Team and OpenTechSchool, they have been a contributor to various open-source projects in the JavaScript ecosystem.

As a public speaker, they have talked about the importance of accessibility, the application of web animations, web standards and best practices in developing web applications at international conferences for over eight years. In their spare time, they enjoy reading graphic novels and learning new human languages.
